Speaker 1:

Eric Forgette works for NetApp as a Technical Marketing Engineer. He has extensive experience in architecting, deploying and managing open systems infrastructures. His primary focus has been on increasing
system utilization using various technologies. While a Systems Architect at UPS Freight, he published an article in Sys Admin Magazine describing how to drive better utilization out of Solaris systems running Oracle's RDMS. He also designed and deployed the first production VMware Virtual Infrastructure in the UPS enterprise
and presented the value of this solution at an internal forum for enterprise architects. As an Unix Administrator at Cisco Systems he was responsible for the evaluation of disk arrays and fibre channel
network offerings. As a Systems Engineer for NetApp, specializing in VMware and Xen, he helped customers and prospects design and deploy NetApp technology to obtain better value from their virtualized
environments.

Speaker 2:

Tommy Walker has worked in Information Technology for the past 15 years. After graduating from The Citadel with a degree in Computer Science he went on to work for several consulting organizations. The Computer Group and IKON Office Solutions gave him his start and experience with Operating Systems, Networking, Security and Storage. With two partners he founded eGroup, a consulting organization based in Charleston, SC. After three years he was approached by Citrix Systems and joined them as a Systems Engineer for North and South Carolina. He held this position for three years before joining VMware in early 2004 where he is currently employed. In his career Tommy has helped companies both large and small implement and deploy business-ready technology. As an engineer for VMware he is an evangelist for Virtualization and the many benefits it brings to the Intel server world; Desktop Virtualization, Server Consolidation, Server Containment and Business Continuity, to name a few.

Speaker 3:

Mike Slisinger is the co-author of 4 White Papers on integrating VMware with NetApp storage. Mike has over 9 years experience with NetApp products. Previously a consultant with NetApp Professional Services, Mike is currently a Technical Marketing Engineer for NetApp focused on server virtualization technologies.
