Session Abstract:

vNetwork (Virtual Switch and companions) is a critical component for contemporary Enterprise and Data Center networks and deserves first-class management capability.
With the release of vSphere 4, Nexus 1000V, and a rich set of products/tools from vNetwork ecosystem, Virtual Switch is ready for prime time monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and management.
We will cover the following topics:
1) What troubleshooting and monitoring challenges have people faced in the past with Virtual Switch?
2) What "vNetwork Platform" changes have we made to tackle the manageability issues in a fundamental and game-changing way?
3) Demonstration of a number of "vNetwork Solutions" and illustration of how these innovations complement the vNetwork manageability?
