Session Abstract:

VMware vCenter Lifecycle Manager helps IT staff address the provisioning and tracking challenge of finding an efficient way to manage the lifecycle of user-requested virtual machines. Lifecycle Manager automatically manages the provisioning and decommissioning of virtual machines. This solution leverages the increased operational efficiency and flexibility of the infrastructure of VMware, and adds the automation capabilities to dramatically reduce the cost and complexity of operating a virtualized environment.
This session will introduce best practices that will allow organizations to manage a large number of virtual machines using Lifecycle Manager. Topics include database configuration best practices, best practices when configuring Lifecycle Manager to connect to vCenter Server, networking best practices and troubleshooting.
