Session Abstract: | There is a heated debate in the market today over the security of virtualization. Vendors who sell virtualization products argue implementing virtualization increases security by providing the ability to separate functions into their own isolated operating environments. Security product vendors counter that a virtual environment introduces additional risks. Who is right? No doubt dynamic virtualized environment it is easy to lose a grip on security and achieve compliance in the face of transient resources and information. But, rather than dwell on the debate, our focus needs to be on understanding how to achieve a virtualization security strategy and set of best practices. |
